Friday!

Our church had a special night set aside tonight for the young married Sunday School classes. They provided free childcare in the nursery so that each class could have a social activity. Our class had eight couples that met at the Town Lake Chili's for dinner. We had a great time getting to know some of the couples better, especially since we are transitioning into this new class. The food was good, and so was the conversation!

Guess what I had in the back of my van in the Chili's parking lot at the Sunday School function...a Budweiser cake! Ha! Ha!! It was for one of my favorite cake clients. Her husband works for Anheiser-Busch and is turning 35 tomorrow. We made the trade-off in the parking lot.

Chaos at the Pumps...This was the hot hang-out in Woodstock tonight! Georgia is still having a gas shortage from Hurricane Ike. The Quiktrip was one of the few stations with gas this evening, and everyone was piling in. Some people pumped their gas, then parked to smoke and people-watch...then the camera crews from the news stations started showing up. It was a 30-minute ordeal...not too bad. We listened to the presidential debate while we waited.
