I have entered a holiday-themed cake decorating competition. The first image is a Fender Stratocaster (Sunburst). Below that is my replica of the guitar made of hand-painted fondant and slices of cake--just a few bits and pieces of my overall cake. I will not be posting pictures of that cake until the contest is over. We had about 14 friends over last night to help us dig in to the cake! I must say it was delicious! I did save the top portion to use as a decoration for the house this holiday season.
