Jeff was at work on Saturday and the girls and I were bored. All of a sudden, we remembered that the Harmony Pet Parade and Dog Show was some time on Saturday. We checked the time and realized it started in one hour and we were all still in our PJs! We quickly got dressed and got Willow all primped up, then drove up to the lake! We were all bundled up because it was so chilly outside, but it was a beautiful day! We got Willow registered, then did the pet parade. He had to be carried the whole time because he was so slow and wanted to smell everything! He made friends with three other Malteses. We entered him into the smallest dog competition and he won! He got a blue ribbon, a gold medal to wear around his neck, and a wonderful and unexpected gift basket from Pet Smart! We enjoyed watching the other competitions, playing on the Bounce House, and talking with neighbors. The last half of the event, Willow was so tired that he slept in my arms bundled up like a baby in a blanket! Everyone was in awe that he was sleeping like a baby through all of the hustle and bustle!

Judging...We got to walk Willow up and down the sidewalk for overall judging...He did not want to be on the sidewalk, but at one point he trotted very nicely!
