The Kuwait Towers

The Kuwait Towers Website

Located on the Arabian Gulf in the area of sharq, Kuwait Towers is one of the main tourist attractions in the State of Kuwait.

The towers were designed by a Swedish company and executed by a Yugoslav company. They were built in 1975 and inaugurated in 1979.

The plates that cover the balls are fifty five thousand in number. They are made of Chinese steel painted in eight different colors.

The first night that I researched Kuwait online, I found The Kuwait Towers! How amazing that only four months later I would be at the top viewing Kuwait City!

Check out Alaina's eyes in the next series of pictures! She could not stop staring at the Kuwaitis in their traditional dress. She could not focus on the photographs!

One of the spheres had photographs displayed showing the damage from the Gulf War. The towers were attacked out of spite because they are a prominent symbol of Kuwait.
