Treasure Hunting By The Pier At Low Tide

After seeing all of the shells at high tide by the pier, we started to wonder what kind of treasures we could find at low tide. We headed down there one morning when the tide was out and found all kinds of unusual shells. We were surprised by all of the rocks along the shore. It was not easy to walk on it, and it had the worst odor imaginable!!!

Searching for treasure...

Headed out to sea with Daddy...

Tiny snails and hermit crabs could be found in puddles and sandy mud...

The apartment buildings...

Spiky-looking Creature...

Blue Crab...

Big sister found a beautiful purple shell,

Then little sister found the other half!

Searching through the puddles...

Prehistoric-looking shell...

The sand dollars look a bit different here...purple with "alien" skin!

Treasure in hand...

Delivering the treasure to Mommy...
